Witnesses
Some signings, wills, trusts, and certain affidavits among them, call for one or two witnesses in addition to the notary. If your document needs witnesses and you can't supply your own, witnesses can be arranged based on availability. Witnesses are $25 each within the standard service area, plus mileage at the IRS rate for any distance beyond it. Because witnesses have to be scheduled ahead of time, please request this when you book so availability can be confirmed before your appointment.
Signings at hospitals and assisted-living facilities
Bedside and facility signings are a specialty, not an exception. We coordinate with families, social workers, and facility staff, and we confirm the signer is alert and signing willingly before any document is executed.
A note on scope
We are a notary and Justice of the Peace service. We notarize and witness the documents you or your attorney prepare. We do not draft estate documents or provide legal advice. If you need documents prepared, we're glad to work alongside your attorney.
